Joumana Haddad (Arabic: جمانة حداد; née Salloum; born December 6, 1970, in Beirut) is a Lebanese author, public speaker, journalist and human rights activist. An author, journalist and human rights activist. She’s the founder and director of the Joumana Haddad freedoms Center, with an experience of over 20 years in the defense of gender equality, secularism, human rights and freedoms. Haddad has published more than 15 books and has been selected as one of the world’s 100 most influential Arab women by Arabian Business magazine for her cultural and social activism.

Joumana Haddad is an award-winning poet, literary translator, publisher and journalist. In 2008 she launched the Arab world’s first erotic cultural magazine, Jasad (Body), which made headlines around the world. Haddad was selected as one of the Beirut39 authors in 2009. Her publications include I Killed Scheherazade: Confessions of an Angry Arab Woman, which was critically acclaimed and translated into thirteen languages, and Superman is an Arab: On God, Marriage, Macho Men and Other Disastrous Inventions. She lives in Beirut with her two sons.

جومانا حداد شاعرة وكاتبة وصحافية ومترجمة لبنانية. لها في الشّعر والنّثر والتّرجمة وأدب الأطفال مؤلّفات عدّة، تُرجم بعضها إلى لغّات أجنبية أبرزها في الشّعر "دعوة إلى عشاء سرّي" و"عادات سيّئة"، وفي النّثر "هكذا قُتلت شهرزاد". نالت جوائز عدّة وكان آخرها "جائزة المسيرة الشعرية" من "مؤسّسة هايكولوتورا آرك" (Arc hicultura) الإيطالية. أسست "مجلّة جسد" الثّقافية وترشحت إلى الانتخابات البرلمانية اللبنانية.

شاعرة لبنانية حازت جوائز عدّة، مترجمة أدبية، ناشرة وصحافية. تشغل منصب رئيسة تحرير الصفحة الثقافية في جريدة النهار اللبنانية. في عام 2008، أطلقت أوّل مجلة إيروتيكية ثقافية في العالم العربي، بعنوان "جسد"، استقطبت أنظار الوسائل الإعلامية في مختلف أنحاء العالم. في عام 2009، اختيرت جمانة كإحدى أفضل الكتّاب العرب ما دون سنّ التاسعة والثلاثين، ضمن احتفالية "بيروت 39". صدر لها عن دار الساقي:
