Suha Beshara was born in 1967 in Alshayah, Beirut. She spent her childhood years between her village Deir Mimas, in Marjeyoun South Lebanon, and Alshayah.As a child she was a courageous and smart student, but she was also known to be a trouble maker. She completed the first year of Civil Engineering at the Lebanese University, but in the following year she converted to the faculty of Applied Sciences. وُلِدت سهى في بلدة دير ميماس، تربت في عائلة شرقية أرثوذكسية، والدها: فواز بشارة، كان عضو في الحزب الشيوعي اللبناني الذي انضمت إليه سهى لاحقاً بالسر في عام 1982م وهي ذات السنة التي اقتحمت فيها إسرائيل الأراضي اللبنانية. كانت سهى ناشطة في داخل هيئات الحزب الشيوعي خصوصاً جبهة المقاومة الوطنية اللبنانية واتحاد الشباب الديموقراطي اللبناني.علاوة على نشاط والد سهى النضالي، ترعرعت سهى في جو نضالي فمن أبناء عمومتها رجاء بشارة التي كانت مقاتلة في الكتيبة الطلابية، وخالد بشارة، ونقولا عبود ولولا عبود.تركت سهى بشارة الجامعة في عام 1986م وانضمت إلى حركات المناضلة في لبنان، كانت مهمة اغتيال الجنرال لحد موكلة إليها وعليه توجهت جنوباً وعرفت بنفسها لعائلة لحد بأنها مدربة الايروبكس لزوجته منارفا، وبالتدريج توطدت علاقتها مع أفراد العائلة وباتت تزورهم باستمرار،...

سهى بشارة مقاوِمة لبنانية، ابنة أسرة شيوعية. ولدت عام 1967 في قرية ديرميماس الجنوبية. حاولت اغتيال قائد "جيش لبنان الجنوبي" (قوات لحد) أنطوان لحد، وأمضت عشرة أعوام في معتقل الخيام، ستّة منها في حبس انفرادي، ليُفرَج عنها عام 1988 في إحدى عمليات التبادل بين المقاومة وإسرائيل. صدر لها عن دار الساقي: "مقاومة"، "أحلم بزنزانة من كرز" بالاشتراك مع كوزيت إبراهيم.
