Jamil Molaeb (born 1948; Arabic: جميل ملاعب, jamīl mulā‘ib) is a Lebanese artist. Life Molaeb was born in 1948: 169  in Baissour in Aley District, in the Chouf historic region of Lebanon, where he still lives. جميل ملاعب (مواليد بيصور سنة 1948) هو رسام ونحات لبناني.درس ملاعب الفن في المعهد الوطني للفنون الجميلة في الجامعة اللبنانية وكان من معلميه شفيق عبود وپول جيراجوسيان. أمضى سنة في الجزائر في معهد الفن العالي وانتقل إلى الولايات المتحدة سنة 1984 حيث نال على ماجستير في الفنون الجميلة في معهد برات في نيويورك ثم حصل على الدكتوراه من جامعة ولاية أوهايو. عند عودته إلى لبنان عام 1989، بدأ بتدريس الفن في الجامعة اللبنانية والجامعة اللبنانية الأميركية في بيروت. بين عامي 1991 و1992، كان ملاعب أمين عام نقابة الفنانين اللبنانيين.
