Rafif Rida Sidawi holds a Ph.D. in Sociology and is a writer in a number of Lebanese and Arab periodicals and newspapers, specializing in narrative criticism. She is currently a senior researcher at the Arab Thought Foundation in Beirut. She has worked as an independent social researcher. She is a member of the Lebanese Women Researchers Association.
