Abdul-Rahim Abu-Husayn

Abdulrahim Abu-Husayn (1 March 1951 - 23 June 2022) was a Palestinian author, professor at the American University of Beirut (AUB)'s Department of History and Archaeology, and an honorary member of the Turkish Historical Society. He is a recognized authority on the history of Greater Syria in Ottoman times, with emphasis on the history of the areas that came to constitute the modern county of Lebanon.
