Zuher Karim is a Belgian-Iraqi independent scholar and writer. Karim writes short stories, novels and multi-purpose newspaper articles. He authored the following literary works: Heart of the Stork (Dar Fadaat, 2011), The Hunter of Dead Bodies (Dar Athar, 2014), A Large Machine Running Over Pedestrians (Almutawassit, 2017), The Band of Unhappy Musicians (Dar al Rafidain, 2018), Romantika (Dar Stoor, 2019), Clouds of the Northeast (Dar Stoor, 2018), Songs of Sand and Mango (General Union of Iraqi Writers, 2020), The Saffron Strings (Alaan Publishers and Distributors, 2020), and The Cacti Palace (Alaan Publishers and Distributors, 2022).
