Since 1930, Denoël has been offering engaging French & foreign literature, as well as essays & documents. Through its various collections, the house publishes about fifty titles per year. In French fiction, Denoël has always played a role of discoverer, both in the field of literary novels and in thrillers and adventure novels. In foreign fiction, a major place goes to the literary novel (Arto Paasilinna, Mark Z. Danielewski, Eve Ensler, Chuck Palahniuk, Sarah Waters, Viktor Pelevine, Mircea Cartarescu...), but also to science fiction and fantasy (Ray Bradbury, Philip K. Dick, Christopher Priest, J. G. Ballard...).Denoël also publishes investigative and testimonial documents in the Impacts collection, where current political issues rub shoulders...
