Maya Abu Al-Hayyat is a Beirut-born, Palestinian novelist and poet living in Jerusalem.
She is the author of four collections of poems, including You Can Be the Last Leaf (Milkweed, 2022), translated by Fady Joudah; four novels, including the latest, No One Knows His Blood Type (Dar Al-Adab, 2013); and numerous children’s stories, including The Blue Pool of Questions (Penny Candy Books, LLC, 2017). Her work has appeared in A Bird Is Not a Stone: An Anthology of Contemporary Palestinian Poetry (Freight Books, 2014).

ايا أبو الحيّات، روائيّة وشاعرة ومترجمة من فلسطين، مواليد بيروت 1980، وتعيش في القدس. صدر لها في الرواية: "حبّات السكّر" 2004، "عتبة ثقيلة الروح" 2011، و "لا أحد يعرف زمرة دمه"، 2013. كما صدر لها في الشعر: "ما قالته فيه" 2007، "تلك الابتسامة... ذلك القلب" 2012، و"فساتين بيتية وحروب" 2015. كما تكتب مايا للأطفال، وتعمل معهم.

مايا أبو الحيّات ـ روائيّة وشاعرة من فلسطين، مواليد بيروت 1980. أصدرتْ روايتها الأولى "حبّات السكّر" في العام 2004، أتبعتْها بديوان شعر في العام 2007 بعنوان "ما قالته فيه". ثم صدرتْ روايتها "عتبة ثقيلة الروح" في العام 2010، وديوان "تلك الابتسامة... ذلك القلب" في العام 2012. كما تكتب مايا للأطفال, وتعمل معهم.
