Dima Wannous (Arabic: ديمة ونوس) (born in Damascus in 1982) is a Syrian writer and translator. She studied French literature at Damascus University and the Sorbonne. She also studied translation in France and has lived in Beirut, where she worked for the newspapers Al-Hayat and As-Safir. She has also worked for broadcast media (radio and TV).She caught the eye of literary critics with Tafasil (Details), a short story collection released in 2007, which describes the Syrian society focussing on different characters with "ironic-grotesque overtones" and showing how they bow to power. Dima Wannous (en arabe : ديمة ونوس) est une écrivaine et traductrice syrienne née à Damas en 1982. Biographie Elle étudie la littérature française à l'Université de Damas et à la Sorbonne. ديمة ونوس كاتبة، روائية وقاصة سورية، خريجة الأدب الفرنسي من جامعة دمشق. هي ابنة الكاتب المسرحي السوري سعد الله ونوس.كتبت مقدمة للطبعة الثانية لكتاب صادق جلال العظم "النقد الذاتي لبعد الهزيمة"، وعملت مذيعة في برنامج "أضواء المدينة" في قناة تلفزيون المشرق السورية ولها العديد من المقالات في جريدة السفير وجريدة الأخبار اللبنانيتين.

ديمة ونُّوس: كاتبة سوريَّة. صدرت لها عن دار الآداب روايتان: كرسيّ، والخائفون (المدرجة على اللائحة القصيرة لجائزة البوكر العربيَّة).
